Clay nods. Okay, that was good. Even the worst people here deserve to know what the hell is going on. He gives a little chuckle at Cas’ first statement. “Yep, sure is different here. Always thought that like vampires an’ unicorns were myth before comin’ here. Guess not, though.”

The cowboy nods a few more times. “Yeah. I think that we should all cooperate. Make this place more bearable. Fix up the trailers or set up business in the city or somethin’. Right?” He cocks a smile, wondering if Cas had any ideas about brightening up this place.

They do exist, I assure you. Just as much as angels and demons exist.

[ Fixing up the trailers seemed… useful, but Castiel wasn’t sure if he could even sleep here. There weren’t many times where he would need to fall asleep, even when he was bordering close to being a human. ]

…I’m not sure what could be more useful here than the liquor store Scanty showed me. To me, it seems consuming alcohol is most useful in situations where you do not know what to do, or there is nothing you can do.

Perhaps… a place that serves burgers. I… remember those making me very pleased during the time where I was beginning to lose my powers back in my own world.

[We believe that you spoke too much. The informant wasn’t the one to let those little details pass by unnoticed, which would happen to the majority of people speaking to him.

Many didn’t even want to know each other’s pasts. Izaya would rather drown himself in the middle of endless information. And when I say “you spoke too much”, you even gave hints of what you are and what you were doing before being abducted.

The brunette simply smiled, scarlet eyes looking at the man for a moment.]

[ Well it’s not like Izaya would know about purgatory anyway, so even if Castiel spoke too much—which he has trouble doing especially when it comes to keeping up lies— it is not likely that Izaya would really know the whole deal. Unless Izaya was no human being, which seemed to be the likely thing here in this place.

And should he be from another universe anyway, he would know nothing about his dealings with the King of Hell or the war machine that involved souls. ]

I was brought back by God to help reform Heaven. But Raphael, the last archangel in heaven, intended to bring the Apocalypse back into motion, after all that work done to prevent it. I am trying to stop him.

…I think I know, granted what your sister informed me.

But it may be that you come from a different universe—I had no idea that alternate universes were expansive enough to provide different versions of hell and heaven, so perhaps the outcome of the apocalypse is different for you. It is a likely possibility, in any case.

That said, in my universe, a new demon took up the title of the King of Hell. Previously, he was known as the King of the Crossroads, and you demons are safe along with this new Hell.

From what I know, he doesn’t pick any patterns when picking his “victims”. I’m not going to sit here forever, but… I am enjoying the unique chance to observe people from other worlds. They have interesting habits. 

I might take my time “going back”. 

[Mainly because he wasn’t wanting to go back to his world. If there was a way to find a loophole and return to a different place, he would grab this chance.

The man could state his reasons, but preferred not to.]

Meeting people from totally random universes isn’t something that you can experience everyday.

So everyone is truly from other universes then… …I wasn’t aware that the amount of alternate universes could be this expansive.

I, on the other hand, have something that I must accomplish in order to help the broken state of heaven. This world pulled me away whilst I was in the middle of…

[ Castiel trailed off. It seemed his own reasons were not something that could be easily shared to an open ear. He had to remind himself that Balthazar was here in this place and information may or may not travel fast to his ears. ]

…Lucifer, your Father, was put in a cage. It is the many thanks to several humans I was helping at the time. Lucifer had killed me, but I was revived by God most likely to help reform heaven.

Both Lucifer… and God… are gone now.

Indeed. She… offered to show me to the liquor store for alcohol consumption. I alone have met some… tolerable demons, myself. Still, it is difficult to place trust in your kind.
